If with MacPorts, you can easily get winetricks created form DanKegel thanks a lot for these handy and helpful scripts. If not, I would recommend you to install MacPorts http: Alternatively, you can follow these steps as well to get winetricks: So once it is installed, type in Terminal: Enter winetricks and then what you want to be installed, it's that easy: You'll get the hang of it.

This game is pretty demanding on video and graphic cards. I am not sure if it will run on Mac without any flaws partly because it is 13 GB , but it is pretty cool! Sometimes errors occur during driver installation and you have to repeat the process. If your computer gets a black screen or blue screen hang during driver installation and you reboot, windows will likely revert you back to a restore state, the new driver has not been installed properly if this happens. If this continues to happen you can try to install the driver in Windows Safe Mode. Can't wait to get it ported.

This would've been amazing to be able to play. I know I wont, hopefully with To that end I have found a guy who wrote a bash script which purportedly installs, updates, configures and mangles everything needed to play GTA IV on Fedora 12 Linux using Wine version 1. I am under the impression that if something works on Linux using wine, it generally possible to get it working under Mac OS using wine also.
